ROOM is media sponsor for international Space Symposium

ROOM Space Journal of Asgardia, the world's leading space magazine, is pleased to be an official media partner of this year’s 39th Space Symposium being held 8-11 April in Colorado Springs, USA.

Thousands of space professionals attend the four-day Space Symposium, one of the world’s premier space conferences, and ROOM is a regular supporter of the event which this year is expected to attract well over 10,000 visitors.

Introducing Asgardia the space nation to a new and enthusiastic space audience will be a key activity for ROOM’s dedicated media table which will be located in one of the Symposium’s giant exhibition halls. ROOM Space Journal has been published since 2014 by the founder and the Head of the Space Nation Asgardia, Dr Igor Ashurbeyli.

Editor-in-Chief Clive Simpson is will be working alongside Elena Khemelva, from Asgardia’s public relations office. “As well as using ROOM’s media presence to promote Asgardia to the thousands of visitors to the exhibition we have produced for the first time a special promotional issue of ROOM which is being presented to delegates in their registration gift bags,” said Clive.

“The Space Symposium is a high-profile international space event and is also a great opportunity where we can meet many of ROOM’s respected authors, Editorial Board members and contributors, as well as commission articles for future issues.”

Chair of the Asgardia Parliament, the former British MP Lembit Opik, will also be visiting the Symposium on the Tuesday when he will be available for informal meetings to talk about Asgardia and press interviews.

Since its foundation in 1984, the Space Symposium has brought together space leaders from around the world to discuss, address and plan for the future of space. It has become widely known as the premier US space policy and programme forum and is seen as a "must attend" opportunity for information on and interaction among all sectors of space.

As well as household names in the space business - including NASA, Rolls-Royce, Rocketlab, Sierra Space, Spire Global and United Space Alliance - Asgardia representatives will be rubbing shoulders with many up and coming NewSpace space companies and entrepreneurs.

ROOM authors, or anyone interested in publishing an article in a future issue, and any Asgardian members or residents visiting the Space Symposium are encouraged to visit the stand for more information.
