Mark Williamson is a freelance space writer, space technology consultant and stock photographer. He is a graduate in physics & astrophysics and holds a PhD in space policy on the subject of ‘Sustainable Development of the Space Environment’. Mark is a former editor of three international space magazines, winner of three category awards in the Aerospace Journalist of the Year Awards and sole author of six books (including ‘The Cambridge Dictionary of Space Technology’ and ‘Space: the Fragile Frontier’, the first serious text on protecting the space environment).
